High Point Sticks
A mobile blood draw service covering Baltimore and the surrounding counties. They had a Wix site. I was given a free hand to make it better, and did, in two to three days.
- What she needed
- A site that made the service instantly clear: a certified phlebotomist comes to your home, office, or care facility, and here is how to book one. The Wix site existed, but it was not doing that job. She told me to improve whatever I thought needed improving.
- What I built
- A new site from the ground up, not a Wix edit. How it works in four steps, the three kinds of draws they do, why mobile beats a lab visit, how to prepare, which counties they cover, common questions, and a booking button that is never more than a scroll away. Phone first, since that is where a patient looks it up.
- How long it took
- Two to three days, including the writing.
- What happened after
- The new site moved off Wix to plain static hosting on Netlify, and the same domain now points there, so nothing changed for her patients. Being handed a free hand is the fastest way I work: no rounds of approval on every heading, just a finished site to react to.
